Fantastic, what a pleasure to see the original uncolored animation from Crayon Dragon, and it's always so much fun to see pencil tests! I really admire your work, Toniko.
Hi there! I found your blog after falling in love with Crayon Dragon (and, subsequently, all your films and tests). Fantastic work, beautiful stories-- I can't wait to see what sprouts from your imagination and hard work next!
It looks from your demo reel like you work mostly digitally-- I have to ask, what programs do you use?
Awesome work! Looks like you have a really good sense of timing. Love your stuff!
ReplyDeleteAnd how do you get such awesome music?
Hey there! LOL I just youtube and google them. This one's from Riverdance
DeleteThanks!
DeleteSome of my friends from Sheridan seem to know you; small world, haha! I love your blog updates! Hope all is well.

ReplyDeleteThanks Demi!
DeleteI hope you'll direct an animated feature film next time.
ReplyDeleteHaha that would be a noble and honorable task... but super hard, scary, and "you're ass is in the line if you screw up" way...! ;)
DeleteThanks though!

For Crayon Dragon I used Flash for the animation, Photoshop for backgrounds and After Effects to compile things together
