Early September Gestures

Rock and Roll dash

I played an old playstation game called Mgaman Legends during my early years of elementary school. When I heard the third game was in development 10 years after the most recent game, I popped a boner. The game was then cancelled so of course I was a downer that day.

Dancers in Ubud

Portraying balinese dancers in cartoon form is had because they themselves have an exaggerated yet unique form of expression. I would love to explore a bit more visual development when it comes to these dancers.

Nuns are creepy to me. I feel like they can see ghosts. they are cool though

To me, this sketch kind of reminds of that dude, Bluto from Popeye.

BumBum

Fourth year film idea. Something more lighthearted and comedic hopefully. Set in Mongolia, I looked at the Pallas' Cat as reference for the cat character. I'm thinking of calling him Bum Bum. This film embodies all the inspirations I have received from almost all of my classmates in my year.

Kingdom hearts disneyfied

I don't play Kingdom Hearts, but my brother plays it. Since the game has characters in disney world, I tried taking a stab at drawing the main character and making him more disney-fied (more wreck it ralph) opposed to Tetsuya Nomura's style. Me drawing this made me realize how many belts, sashes, and buckles that man puts in his characters. Damn!

Evangelion Kids

 

Watching pacific rim made me want to watch the new evangelion rebuild. So far I've seen all three. First one was okay, Second one was good, and third one was... meh. However, I would love to see how the series turns out, as I was exposed to the original series by my sister's VHS tapes.
