Production pipeline for "Serenade to Miette"



In all honesty, I'm kind of disappointed that it didn't turn out like the graphic iconic monochromatic feel I had planned out, that was seen in the animatic. So next time and next year, those are the things I will focus on. I'll apply more of that sepia - tonish feel in the final film, a long with a lot of overlaying layers of masks.

The process to the film is that all the animation is done with colerase and 4B-6B pencils, which are then scanned and colored by hand on Photoshop. Man this process really bites, but it does contain so much more raw energy than what a lot of pure digital films have. I might not use paper for my future films here since I do aim to have finished and longer films...

  4. Man, and in first year sheridan, they just want u to do a walk cycle, you've got a full on run! I'm glad things seem to be turning out well for you~!! This is great stuff, keep it up man!
